| Inspired by the simplicity of the traditional Japanese futon; the sofa evokes the idea of a padded mattress on a covered wooden structure. A refined quilted motif designs the large seat cushion; embellished by the sartorial detail of the toggles; made and applied by hand; proposed in shades with the covering fabric. The project is characterized by a dynamic alternation of different thicknesses and heights; that outline an urban landscape; a sort of architectural composition built with materials; different finishes and volumes; in a harmonious contrast. |
