Features and functionality

SCIANGAI 50 is a limited edition of the iconic coat hanger designed in 1973 by De Pas; D'Urbino and Lomazzi. Zanotta celebrates the important anniversary of 50 years of Shanghai; together with the designer Paolo Lamozzi; creating a version with bright and joyful colors. An empathetic and communicative object; faithful to the original sketch found in the De Pas studio; D'Urbino and Lomazzi; by Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla; new Art Directors of Zanotta.

Materials and construction
Closable coat hanger inspired by the Chinese board game. Consisting of eight solid beech wood strips connected by a joint above the centre. From open; they create an adjustable circumference based on the space available.
