Features and functionality
The Grand Prix chair is a chair with a graphic edge. It was presented at the Designers' Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in 1957. In the same year; the chair was exhibited at the Milan Triennale where it received the Grand Prix; the best honor of the exhibition.
Materials and construction
Grand Prix is available in oak and walnut veneer; colored or lacquered ash (only 3130). All chairs are made of pressure-shaped veneer. The front or full cover is available in a wide range of fabrics and leather types. The base is available with four legs in different variations: chromed or powder coated steel tubes and wooden legs.
