Designed by Doshi Levien for HAY; the Dapper lounge chair represents the designer duo's distinctive fusion of industrial design; crafts; narrative and technology. Originally designed for use in a London university; Dapper has an extra wide backrest for comfort and optimal elbow support for laptop work. Its structural form is made up of two oak veneered molded plywood shells with powder-coated steel legs. Dapper's body is available in a variety of veneers; dyed and lacquered oak fabrics and leather; with the structure available in different variations of powder-coated steel. |
