When Henningsen designed the iconic PH Artichoke for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen in 1958, he opted for solid copper leaves with a pink finish on the inside. This combination gives the organic shape an exceptional warmth, while the light is beautifully reflected by the PH Artichoke's hidden light source. The light coming from the Copper Rose edition creates a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. In honor of Poul Henningsen's birthday, Louis Poulsen presents PH Artichoke in the same original materials and finish. The Copper Rose version will be available in all the various sizes of the PH Artichoke only in 2019. The special editions will have the PH engraving commemorating PH's 125th birthday on one of the leaves positioned in the third row from the top. | |
