Features and functionality
The HAL RE Tube seat is designed with the classic; discreet four-legged base and a flexible shell made of recycled plastic; which ensures excellent comfort. Perfect for the home; lends itself to a wide range of contexts; for example the dining room; but also conference rooms; cafes and restaurants. The chrome chair legs are also available in powder-coated versions; ideal for outdoor use.
Materials and construction
Shell: mass-dyed recycled polypropylene. Base: stackable four-legged base; made of chromed or basic dark powder coated steel tubing. Possibility of stacking up to 6 chairs on the floor and up to 15 chairs on a transport trolley. Note: Since stacking may cause scratches; for this purpose we recommend the chrome version.

Agency
Vitra is a family-run design company headquartered in Birsfelden; in Switzerland. Founded by Willi Fehlbaum in 1953 after a trip to the United States; discovering the chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames. The management responsibilities were subsequently entrusted to the founder's children who; following a fire that destroyed production; took advantage of the opportunity to develop a new plan for the Vitra Factory Campus. In 2012 the Fehlbaum brothers in turn transferred the management of the company to the third generation of the family; represented by Nora Fehlbaum. Vitra makes a major contribution to sustainability by avoiding following short-term trends and forgoing non-essential details. For this reason the company sets out together with its collaborators in search of optimal solutions; placing attention on the durability and longevity of the products.
