In 1959; Danish architect Bodil Kjær launched his Indoor-Outdoor series; which included the extremely comfortable BK12 sofa. Made of solid teak with slatted seat and backrest; the sofa shows the same geometric sensitivity that underpins the rest of the collection. This quality is further enhanced by the armrests; from the legs and guides; which are fitted together to form elegant squares. Conceived as an architectural element; with proportions studied accordingly; the BK12 sofa is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The pillow is sold separately.
