Hans J. Wegner designed the CH72 sofa in 1952; drawing on his in-depth knowledge of carpentry and upholstery. The result is an excellently crafted and fluid design that is as notable today as it was over half a century ago. The CH72 sofa is characterized by a fully padded sculptural structure; a loose seat cushion and elegant tapered solid wood legs. The armrests and legs are available in oak and walnut with different finish options; and a range of colors and textures are also available for upholstery fabrics
