The Swan Sofa was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and reintroduced into the Fritz Hansen collection in 2000. The design contains no straight lines; making it organic and soft to the eye despite its simplicity and strong architectural appeal.

Materials and construction
The Swan sofa is fully upholstered in a wide range of fabrics and leather types. The sofa rests on a shaking base in polished satin aluminium. The shell is made of synthetic material and padded with cold-polymerized foam.
