Features and functionality

Inspired by the simplicity of the traditional Japanese futon; the sofa evokes the idea of a padded mattress on a covered wooden structure. A refined quilted motif designs the large seat cushion; embellished by the sartorial detail of the toggles; made and applied by hand; proposed in shades with the covering fabric. The project is characterized by a dynamic alternation of different thicknesses and heights; that outline an urban landscape; a sort of architectural composition built with materials; different finishes and volumes; in a harmonious contrast.

Materials and construction

Monobloc sofas. Wooden base covered in the same fabric or leather as the sofa. Wooden structure. Springing on elastic bands. Backrest and seat padding in polyurethane of different densities/heat-bound polyester fibre. Back cushion in goose down – 100% virgin material. Roll cushion in polyurethane/heat-bonded polyester fibre. Removable internal lining in nylon fabric. External covering with quilted seat cushion; removable in fabric or leather. On demand; for models 212 and 302; the version with all high backrests is available with a 3% surcharge.
