Flexia is a game of perceptions between the visible; material and colourful; and the invisible that becomes light. Inspired by papiroflexia; the technique used to fold the papyrus; Flexia recalls the Japanese art of origami. Flexia was born from the meeting between the lighting know-how of Artemide and the experience in sustainable design of Mario Cucinella; whose work pursues constant attention to sustainability issues conceived according to a holistic approach and applied to every design scale.
